I’m a pretty big fan of Bob Dylan, and that means that I’m also a pretty big fan of the 1960s. It was a tasty decade for music and politics, and they went together like bread and butter. They were also the key inspiration for this poster set, which was kick-started by the Dylan lyric “I like Fidel Castro and his beard.”

19 Mary Street is a brand new tapas restaurant situated in the heart of Porthcawl, South Wales. The strapline is friends, tapas and cocktails and it's really that simple—they set out with a clear mission of creating a relaxed and stylish atmosphere for people to relax and enjoy fine food and beverages.
I created the brand from scratch, which included everything from the identity to menu design to helping out with the interior of the restaurant.
I was once told by a Yosemite National Park ranger, “If you are going to camp rough, be very careful of the bears.” Helpful! It just so happens that the bear was lovely and he, or maybe she, went on to inspire these illustrations.

My job was to create a new brand for Supplement Central. They wanted something that represented their personality—something friendly and approachable with a rustic and organic feel. It had to appeal to health conscious people, fitness fanatics and bodybuilders.

The brief was to create a brand identity that was memorable and well represent them as an exciting young company. It was also important that the identity looked great when applied to stationery and packaging.
Journey of a Gentleman
An old friend of mine recently purchased his first home. When I asked him if there was anything in particular he wanted as a house warming present, he answered “yes, something to put on my wall.”
Brilliant! Now this is a guy with an incredibly large beard, that I am extremely envious of. Also, on occasions he’s known to curl his moustache, again I am very jealous of this. So, I created a print (and an animated GIF) to show the long and challenging journey of growing a beard.
Oh, and he’s an absolute gent. Sometimes.

This was a project inspired by a hand drawn thank you card I received from a five year old named Isaac. It was something really endearing about the naive illustration style, so I set out to try and re-create his style.

Beau Belle is a small, but high quality beauty salon based in Newport, South Wales. They aim to provide an exceptional service with a personal touch to each of their clients.
My job was to help develop the brand identity and design style for their shop interior, printed material and social media. Introducing a new colour palette and a brush stroke style, the brand had good balance between elegance and youthful energy.
